How does the Shopify seller onboarding work?
As a marketplace owner, you may invite Shopify sellers to your marketplace so they may onboard their products and wait for orders to be pulled from your marketplace to their Shopify dashboard for fulfillment. Once fulfilled, the shipment tracking information will be pushed from their Shopify store to your marketplace. It’s all automated. All they need to do is install the Vendo Connect app from the Shopify App Store and your marketplace will remain in sync with their store.
Will the Shopify sync work with my seller’s WMS or ERP?
Your Shopify seller might be using a number of 3rd party solutions such as a Warehouse Management System, an inventory management solution, a PoS, or an ERP. All of these systems speak to each other to keep your Seller’s Shopify store up to date and supplied with the latest and accurate information. Your marketplace uses the latest Shopify information so all of these systems should always stay in sync. There is no need for any additional integration work apart from installing the Vendo Connect app from the Shopify App Store.
Will Shopify sales analytics work with my marketplace orders?
All orders coming from your marketplace to your seller’s Shopify dashboard are just regular orders as any other and are included in Shopify sales analytics. These marketplace orders are designated with the sales channel description “Vendo Connect” so your sellers may filter their sales by that descriptor and track your marketplace sales channel performance.
Will future product changes be reflected on my marketplace?
Once your marketplace seller installs the Vendo Connect app from the Shopify App Store, there will be an initial sync performed but also any future product catalog, inventory, shipping, tax or other changes will be synchronized in real-time. So there is no risk of overselling or a need for manual updates on your marketplace.
Will the shipment tracking sync with my marketplace?
Once the Shopify seller fulfills your marketplace order in their store dashboard, the shipment tracking information will be synced back with your marketplace. Vendo Shopify sync is fully automated that way.
Can I find the Vendo Connect app from in the Shopify App Store just to check it out?
